Floor Care & Maintenance

  • Steam mops, electric mops, and wet mopping must not be used to clean the flooring. The surface may only be cleaned with a well-wrung, damp-dry mop. Conventional household cleaning solutions and detergents are not permitted, as they are often highly concentrated and abrasive and may damage the surface coating. The use of traditional wax, steel wool, solvents, or citrus-based cleaning products is also strictly prohibited.
  • Daily cleaning should be carried out using a vacuum cleaner, static mop, or smooth floor broom. Sand, dirt, and other abrasive particles must be promptly removed, as they can scratch and damage the surface coating. The customer is responsible for ensuring that vacuum heads, brooms, and other cleaning devices are free from metal screws, sharp edges, or other components that may cause surface damage.
  • The customer must affix felt strips or suitable protective material to the bases of furniture, chair legs, and other frequently moved objects. Floor mats are recommended at entry points and in high-traffic areas to reduce grit and dirt transfer. Heavy items must not be dragged or pushed across the flooring surface, as this may result in damage.
  • Roller or castor chairs must not be used directly on the flooring surface, as grit accumulation beneath the wheels can cause abrasion. Protective floor mats are required in areas where such chairs are used to prevent excessive wear and surface scuffing.
